About the Cult

Real work challenges, solved at the level that fits.

Cult of Codex is a plain-English library of real work challenges and the ways people solve them, from manual steps to agentic systems. If a task is repetitive, messy, or quietly eating time, it belongs here.

What it is

Find the challenge. Compare the paths. Choose what fits.

Each Ritual starts with a simple challenge: what work are we trying to make easier? From there, the page can show different ways to solve it, from manual steps through to agentic systems.

You do not have to start with the biggest or most technical answer. The useful answer is the one that fits your tools, confidence, budget, and time.

The goal is to make repetitive work easier to understand, easier to improve, and easier to share.

What to expect
01

Browse real work challenges from office work, admin, reporting, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

02

Compare the possible answers and see whether the best path is Manual, Assisted, or Agentic.

03

Over time, share use cases, suggest better answers, and help shape the library.

Order I - Manual

A clear set of steps, a checklist, a spreadsheet, a script, or a template you can use without AI.

Order II - Assisted

AI helps create, adapt, or set up the answer, but the finished workflow can usually run without AI every time.

Order III - Agentic

AI becomes part of the ongoing system, helping move repeatable work forward while the human stays in charge.

Why it exists

This is not about using AI for everything.

A lot of useful automation starts with ordinary work challenges: moving files, cleaning data, preparing a report, following up with people, or turning a rough process into something repeatable. Sometimes the best answer is simple. Sometimes AI helps. Sometimes the whole workflow can run alongside you.

Cult of Codex is an invitation to collect those challenges and build better answers together. Some Rituals will start as open challenges. Some will start with one working answer. Over time, the library should show the same challenge solved at different levels, so people can choose the path that makes sense for them.

The goal

Make repetitive work easier to understand, easier to improve, and easier to share. Better results, faster, with time returned on every run.
